I know that this has been asked before... but I dont remember the responses.

FH and I are getting our engagement pics done next week. Do we tip the photographer?

Good thing I saw this!! We're getting our engagement pictures done on Monday. We're getting our pics done in the studio. So, we really have to tip him that day?

I didn't. In my opinion tipping is for going 'above and beyond' - you shouldn't get a tip just for doing your job.

we tried to tip our photographer b/c we thought he was great, but he wouldn't take it

we tipped ours $20, but i was a real pain and had them take us to several different locations so i think it was ok to tip.

if it's in-studio, i wouldn't think it was necessary unless you really liked their service

our engagement pic photog is also doing our wedding so we will probably wait until after the wedding to tip her for everything!

I think we gave him $25... we went to more than one location, he had to pay a toll to get into a park, and he had to deal with 40+ mph winds.

I didn't tip mine for ours...opps. I didn't think it was neccessary,,,I may be wrong. Now I feel bad..lol
