Western Suffolk girls on the North Shore - I need your help!!

I need to get my nails done and I am long overdue for a haircut.

Any suggestions? I have gone to a few places in the area, but nothing I am crazy about, and the last time I had my nails done it was $100!!

I'm willing to spend as much as $40 on the haircut and maybe $60 on the nails.

I got to Cactus in Mayfair for haircuts. I know they do nails there too, but have never gotten them done there.
I know my mom likes to go to canele- she goes a lot more often than I do. Its on jericho in the little shopping center across from pathmark and in between burger king and hess.

I also used to go to Borte for my nails- thats in the elwood shopping center.

if you're willing to go to $50 on the hair, then I have a great place for you...Papillon in huntington village is great....I go to Shaki, but she is pregnant, so I will probably be seeing Demetri when she leaves...they are all really good though....

I recently moved to Commack and I've been to Cactus in Mayfair and Borte in Elwood shopping center (both on Jericho Tpke). Cactus is in Commack and Borte is in E Northport. I liked Borte the best. I've gotten manis/pedis there too. They are really good. The girl that does my hair is Darlene.

There is T-Carleton Salon in St. James

Joseph Kent Salon in Stony Brook

For nails...love Angel Tips in Hauppauge - there are 2: one in the branch shopping center with waldbaums & the one in Starbucks/Daffy shopping center.

I know this is more eastern suffolk but great places!

Hey Janna!! I also go to Angel Tips when I get pedis over the summer and I'll be going there for my bridal mani/pedi too. It's right on Rt. 111, next to CompUSA.

I suggest angel tips as well, I haven't been there in awhile but diane did my nails when I was going there, now I have been getting them done when I leave work in bethpage at a place called QQ nails...great place if anyone is close to there.
