Donation Favor question

FH and I want to make a donation to the Lance Armstrong Foundation and the American Diabetes Association for our favors. I would like to add something a little extra like a box of chocolates or something. Someone said I shouldnt give out chocolates b/c we are donating to the Diabetes Association. What do you think? I have a bunch of family members that have diabetes (which is why Iam making the donation) and they all eat chocolate. I could always do mints or something but it is really the same thing b/c they are not sugar free.

We did a donation to the American Diabetes Association & also the National Parkinson's Foundation...That didn't stop me from giving out chocolate...You can do mints if you want though too!!
