Interesting Bridal Party Gifts

I really am at a loss as to what to get my girls. I got them each a necklace to match the dress but I want to get them something else, and I would like it to be different but I can't seem to find anything.

What is everyone else doing???

I think I'm doing the necklace, a tote bag, 'day of essentials' in a make-up bag (bobby pins, safety pins, etc.), an engraved heart compact from Lillian Vernon in a red leather heart case, and flip flops (to wear for the beach pictures). And we'll see what else along the way...

i'm doing the day of jewelry also, a tote with their names embroidered into it to carry all the necessities the day of, either a trinket box or compact with their initials engraved, cute little 'bridesmaid's tank tops, and i'm paying for their hair and makeup. I may even throw in movie passes or gift certificates for a massage or something.

I got married the same day as you, but last year, and I got my girls all oversized beach bags and stuffed them with huge beach towels, flip flops, sunglasses, a subscription to a magazine, a cute tank top to wear to the beach, an ankle bracelet and a bunch of other cute 'summery' things. They LOVED them. HTH.

I got my girls jewelry for the day of also. i also ordered them coach wristlets from coach.com. they were $48 each and they gift wrapped them and attached a card.

I am doing day of jewelry also I think that is very popular. You can also do a day at a spa...
I made them tees and got them tote bags that I am not very fond of... And I am getting them a small pic frame

the best gift i ever got as a bridesmaid was from my friends wedding this past may. she gave each girl a gift certificate to their personal salon to spend on whatever service they wanted. it was just such a sweet thoughtful gift, and something that we all used on ourselves after the wedding so it didnt feel as wedding related as day of jewlery.
