From your wedding day

Did anyones nerves act up? I have such a nervous stomach and I am so worried about being a mess and feeling like I am gonna puke. I never do from it and I have ZERO doubts or anything, I just get nervous. If you do too what did you do that day??

Also, I guess it comes naturally just knowing your making the right decision tends to bring this sudden calmness over you.

I too was worried about tossing my cookies but I was SO excited that I forgot all about being nervous!

Same here...while I was getting my hair done they said 'That CAN'T be the bride--she is too young and TOO CALM!'

I am not that young, was 30 when I got married but I was definitely surprisingly calm!

I probably would have been hyperventilating but we decided to get ready in the same house and take pictures together beforehand so seeing my guy the whole morning calmed me down

i think a supernatural calm comes over many women.

I am a very nervous, anxious individual and that day it was like i was walking on air. Nothing (not even my crazy mother!) got me worked up.

Just take care of yourself leading up to the day and on it (eat right, hydrate, nourish, sleep) and you will be just fine!

OMG I had the morning from hell, and was still pretty calm. It's the thought of marrying your best friend...nothing can marr that!!

I almost did get sick, as soon as I got to the aisle to walk down,
I felt like I was going down. I have no recolection of my vows. I didnt know DH fumbled his until I saw the video.

I thought I was going to be a basket case. All week it said thunderstorms and I was so upset. My dad came to stay with me the week before the wedding (he lives in VA) and that morning we were sitting on the deck and my dad looked up and said 'I hate to say this honey, but it looks like it's going to pour' the sky was black, my worst nightmare, and I looked up shrugged my shoulders and said 'I think you're right' two minutes later the sky opened up. Everything I thought I would feel I didn't, it didn't take away from my happiness at all.

BTW, it did stop pouring and the sun came out by the time the limo arrived, LOL - but it was so humid we couldn't take that many pics outside anyway. Point is that no matter what happens on that day, you'll be happy. I thought I would be balling through the whole ceremony, but I was so calm, it was almost surreal.

now that you say it that way, kinda... but then again...it was easy and relaxing day. I had fun on our wedding day...just wish is wasn't so damn short

I don't think I was nervous. I was just stressed. I had IBS. And that was stressful enough.

I almost tossed my cookies right before they opened the door for me to walk down the aisle. You can see it in my face in all the pics as I was waling down the aisle, I thought I was going to pass out.

Once the ceremony was over, I partied like it was 1999~
