walking down the aisle

I was told by someone that when the bp walks down the aisle that it is family first. for ex. so it would be future sil, future cousin than my girlfriends.
is this true?

I have never heard of that before. I am having my BP walk down in size place order. I will be in a wedding party later this year and will also be walking down in size place order. I think you can have your BP walk down any way you want.

I'm doing mine in size order also. my two girls that are most important to me are my MOH's and they're walking down after all of the other girls by themselves

I'm doing it in age order.

2 best friends's with FH's little brother (he'll be big pimpin'!!!)
FH's sister with my cousin
my sister with FH's cousin
my oldest sister with FH's cousin

I paired them up according to age and it worked out that it's also according to height!

I though it was the opposite, friends go first and family goes closer to you.

this was the order of our processional:

My Grandmothers
DH's Sister and BIL
DH's Other sister and BIL
Groomsmen
Best Man
Bridesmaids
MOH
DH and his parents
Ring Bearers
My Leaf Throwers (we had no little girls as flower girls and it was a fall theme so DH's nephews threw leaves)
Me and my parents

Usually, the family goes down the aisle first (like parents, grandparents, etc). You can then arrange your BP whichever way you want, with the MOH going last.

In most of the weddings I've been to it's been family, BM's, FG's, MOH, Bride.
