Ivite Question - Reception Card (Repost BHB)

I some how want to let my guests know that I am having a Viennese Hour at my wedding. I want to include it on the reception card of my invitation. I just want them to be prepared that my wedding is 6 hours - 7:30pm - 1:30am but I DO NOT want to include the times.

Anyone ever see this done before?

Any suggestions?

Maybe you could write 'Please join us for dinner and dancing at 7:30 PM. Viennese hour to follow' (or something like that).

Re: Ivite Question - Reception Card (Repost BHB)

I was just debating doing the exact same thing! Now I can tell my FH that I'm not the only one

I think it's a great idea to put on the invite simply because then people can plan ahead to stay for an extra hour. My wedding is from 6:30 - 1am. Either way it's late an people might leave but at least some will know to get a babysitter for an extra hour I love the surprise of people not knowing but then they might not get to enjoy it!

I was debating putting it at the bottom of the reception card in one of the corners but I actually think putting it in with the reception wording is more appropriate.

I ended up putting it at the bottom of my reception card. I skipped two lines & just wrote in the center of the bottom of the reception card Viennese Hour to Follow
