NYC girls- question about marriage license??

NYC girls- question about marriage license??
I just want to know if I go to City Hall with my passport, will that be sufficient...on the website, it SAYS it is, but we are dealing with the City here
, so I want to be sure.TIA!

It should be fine! I brought everything you could think of and all they looked at was my driver's license.

I thought the same thing and took passport, SS card, license, VA ID card etc. We both just used our passport

Can anyone go to city hall? We are getting married on Long Island, but the city would be so much easier? Do they check your addres or anything?

Yes, the license is for a NYState marriage, so you could get in anywhere in the state.

One form of ID is all you need (that and the ever important money order).

We just did our passports, which was fine. Btw you have to get the money order before going there...

If you go to Brooklyn (210 Joralemon) the Post Office is in the lobby so you can get the money order there
I think it's $35 - FH got ours

It's $35 in NYC. I believe it's $40 in Nassau County.

Yup, NYC it's $35, LI it's $40.We're going on Thursday or Friday for ours, and all we're bringing our IDs and birth certificates just in case!!!
Wow how scary that us end of April girls can already go for our marriage licenses!!!

Our driver's licenses were sufficient in NYC. Passports are fine to use too.
