Change of date...

I had to change my wedding date....I spoke to my family from overseas this past weekend and they told me that they wouldn't be able to come for the wedding the 1st weekend in Oct. That's 12 people that are willing to take a 9 hour plane ride so they can come to my wedding & the truth is that I really want them here. After crying my eyes out because I was so set on that day, I saw my FH and spoke to him about it.
He is sooooooo understanding. Basically he told me that since it meant so much to me to have them here then we will call the hall and see what other day they have to offer us around the same time span. I am marrying such a great guy!! I <3 him. My new date is 11/10/07...lets just hope it stays that way.

Don't let it upset you that you had to change your date, just think that now you will have all your loved ones there to share in your special day. Good Luck

Your exactly one week after me at the same hall - the extra month will give you and FH more time to do the finishing touches.

I'm sorry you had to change your date, but it will be better with all your family there.

I am sorry to hear of this.

I understand your concern because I also have a number of people coming from overseas and when it came time to pick the date, I asked them when will be the most convenient. After doing much homework on the airfare and few weeks of exchanging emails, we picked the date in March....If it was up to me, I would have picked the summer, but if it means having my family be with me for the wedding, March works.

Two extra months can't hurt at the end. I know it must be hard right now, but you will have so many more to share your special day

Now you have a few extra weeks to plan and save. It's the same season and everyone you want there can be there. It's a win win! The Floral Terrace is great (I live down the block). Your wedding reception will be fabulous!
