Annoyed vent
I sent out my invites on the 14th and there are some people I talk to all the time (my MOH being one of them) that haven't even mentioned it to me!!If one of your bf's sent you a wedding invitation, wouldn't you at least mention it in passing???!?!
Sorry, maybe I'm being a complete spoiled brat...and I know that people don't think about my wedding as often (or ever) as I do.....but it would be a nice gesture to MENTION that you got the invite!!!
UGH.

That's not nice at all. I think I may have said this before on this site, I've noticed since I started my wedding planning, that everyone is not as excited as you would like them to be. My friends who are married or engaged are always checking in with me about my plans and offer help. My single friends can't be bothered. Part of me gets hurt, and then I get over it!!

yes...it's my single friends that are doing this....
I don't know why I am so sensitive about this stuff....I guess I am just really finding out who my real friends are throughout this process

I definitely noticed that some people were not happy about my wedding. I had a few friends who never even mentioned they received the invitation until I asked them. I was upset but had to keep telling myself that not everyone is going to be as excited as me.

There are some people who are really excited and others who could care less it seems. We have friends that just got engaged and I'm planning on sending them a card. There are some things that I didn't realize meant so much until I became a bride to be.

People tend to be jealous. I have learned this the hard way when my best friend never asked to look at my ring. Not once. Never. Most of my friends take my ring off my finger and try it on. Her? She wont even look at it.So realize that people can be jealous of your good tidings. My thing is you need to embrace those who are super excited about your wedding and the things going on with it.
Hey girl, you are getting married in NYC---the hottest weddding of the year.

that's so annoying about your BF not looking at or commenting on your ring - ***?
that's like my boss....the other day she finally asked to see my ring and she goes, 'oh, marquis.' and that was it....I mean, at least lie and say it's gorgeous, even if you don't like it!
