NWR: Hair Salons

I am in deep need of highlights, it's getting embarrassing to show my face around. I have a friend who does an amazing job, but she can't do it this time due to schedule conflicts....so I need a salon, preferably in Nassau....please, no one recommend Cactus, I went to the one in Syosset and she did a HORRIBLE job. Any suggestions are welcome.

I go to Mary in Franklin Square- The Hair Company shes great with highlights and color

i love my salon!!! Salon Blue in Mineola on Jericho tpke - they do my color cut and they did my wedding - they are so nice and i think they do such a fabulous job!!!!

I go to DeFranco Spagnolo in Great Neck...awesome job on highlights (that's the only thing that I go for!)

I love my place--it is in Massapequa on Merrick Road. It is called details & Wendy does my hair---she does a great job. I use to have highllights & I only let her do them. Now I just get color and she does a great job.

I 2nd salon blue, that is where I have been going since I moved here and I love it.
