East End Brides?

I feel like the minority here girls! Most of you live up the island! Ok so anything past Riverhead here is considered up the island aka 'up west'
So any other brides out there live out here in the far end of the island or am I the farthest? I tell ya it makes looking at vendors a hike!

I don't live out there, but I am having my Wedding at Eastwind which is in Wading River.

My FH used to live in Mannorville, so I can only imagine the hike you have when you have to go see people.

I know what you mean... I am a minority too. I live in Bayside, Queens. I am house hunting on the island though and I used to live out there. I keep getting vendor info from 631 area codes.. Thats alittle too far.

It's funny bc I imagined most of the girls on these boards lived 'out east.' I felt like I was the minority living in Floral Park which is western Nassau.

Good luck.. i wish i could find a house out here too but they are waaaaaaaaaaay over priced. That's why im looking for something in LI. I see for sale signs all the time... but they are untouchable.

I am from patchogue. FH is from Medford. We are having our wedding at west sayville country club. I have been told that we are far east.

We're having our reception at East Wind, which is pretty far out there, like 10 minutes from Riverhead. I actually prefer it 'out east' because it seems less conjested than around here.

I went to school in Southampton.... I must say I do love living in Nassau, now. Everything is just so much more convient. Although I do miss the peaceful surroundings....
