I just need to vent a bit...'women issues'
It's not really all that bad, just going thru a bunch of things right now....I am moving in two weeks, giving my dog up for adoption because I discovered that I am severly allergic. For those of you who are animal lovers, you might hate me but the family who is taking him is amazing! As a matter a fact, my dog is there right now for a sleepover! We want him to get used to the people before we turn him over to them. It is really hard but will be a better situation for him. Iam also having some 'women' issues with my breast...again. Over a year ago, I discovered a lump in my right breast which luckily turned out to be nothing and I had it removed. Now....in the same breast, I have a bigger lump that you can actually see just by looking and not just by feeling. It is painful and I am just freaking out about what it could be this time. Anyone have anything like this before?Sorry this is so long...just airing my thoughts. Thanks for listening.

I'm sorry to hear about your dog, but I'm glad that you're seeing him off to a good home. Sounds like you're doing the right thing, I don't think anyone would hate you for that.I've never experienced any kind of lumps before but I want to send my well wishes.
I understand how scary that can be and I want you to know that my thoughts are with you.

Thanks. I really feel like we are doing the right thing with our doggy. The new owner has a king size bed and is so psyched about letting him sleep with her. She is so cute. I couldn't even let him sleep in the same room with me, ya know.

Sorry to hear about your doggy situation. Yes, I had an abnormality and had it removed. Thankfully, it was nothing. After though, I had scar tissue. It was painful. I had it removed as well. It disorted my breast! SO yes, get it checked. Be concerned but try to remain calm. It could be just scar tissue.

Re: I just need to vent a bit...'women issues'
I know how scary the lump thing is. I also found a lump almost 2 years ago and had it removed. Luckily, like you, it was nothing. Just try to stay calm and remember that the last time you had something - it was nothing. For me, they said I was just prone to that kind of thing and its common in young women, more than we realize. So, try to stay calm and focus on knowing your dog will have a good home that you can visit and focus on the moving (which is a pain) and make an appt. to see your doc.Hang in there - everything will be fine! Its a stressful time.

I am so sorry for what you are going through.
In jan my sister went to her doctor and they found a lump, she is waiting on her appointment which is next week with a specialist but this is what they are telling her that it might be:
'Fibroadenomas are the most common solid breast masses. They are benign and are most often found in younger women (less than 25 years old). They are more common in African-Americans than in Caucasians. On mammograms and ultrasound, they appear smooth, with sharp, distinct margins. Most fibroadenomas get smaller with time; slightly more than one-third will get larger. Fibroadenomas do not increase the risk of breast cancer.
Because most masses in young women are benign, watchful waiting is acceptable. In older women, biopsy is often recommended. In any event, if you are uncomfortable with observation, you should discuss surgical removal of the lump with a surgeon. Following with mammography in six months is a recommendation, not the only choice. Most likely, the mass really is a benign fibroadenoma, but if you are going to be at your wit's end for the next six months, you might want to consider having the lump removed. '
You said that last year you had one removed that was nothing. I dont know if this is what it was.
But i will keep you in my prays
Yes! Exactly...last year I had a fibrodenoma removed. I am thinking it is that again but on the other had still worried b/c it feels totally different than the one I had the biopsy for.
Thanks! I appreciate

I'm sorry you have to give up your pet. That's always such a hard thing to do. At least you're giving him a good home.I too had a huge lump on the side of my breast that got so big that you could see it through my clothes. I got it checked and was told that it was a mass of fatty tissue and it was removed and thankfully it wasn't anything serious.
For you. Hopefully it'll be something similar to mine and you can just have it removed. You'll be in my prayers.

A friend's daughter recently had this i think. Her breast really did swell up alot. It was benign though and she was able to take care of it.

If it's any consolation, my little sister had one removed a few years ago and developed another one earlier this year. It's probably very scary and frustrating, but at leat its benign!!!
