Re: REHEARSAL DINNER HELP!!!!!!!!
I'd love to know if there is something out there for less than $500! We searched the Hauppauge/Commack area last weekend and found $22 per person to be the cheapest. But this doesn't include, tip, tax and alcohol. Here are a few websites that may help:

Good luck!

Re: REHEARSAL DINNER HELP!!!!!!!!
Try Pier 44 in Babylon or Mario's high hook- also in Babylon. They are great restaurants! My FH's company has their holiday party at pier 44 and we are having our RD at Mario's -

Re: REHEARSAL DINNER HELP!!!!!!!!
Thank you! I am going to research Pier 44...I was avoiding it because my FH hates fish...but he might have to suffer! He can suck it up for one night!

Re: REHEARSAL DINNER HELP!!!!!!!!
Gemelli's is GREAT, but probably expensive. Or you can do a house thing, and just have it catered. There's also the Argyle Grill (which is GREAT!).

Re: REHEARSAL DINNER HELP!!!!!!!!
I went to a bridal shower at Argyle Grill. Very nice. Good luck!!! If dinners are pricy, maybe you can do a rehearsal brunch at the Argyle Grill or something. I was thinking about doing a brunch thing because I like brunches

Re: REHEARSAL DINNER HELP!!!!!!!!
Now, I don't know places in the Babylon area, but I thought I would suggest anyway...My fiance and I were looking for somewhere that was less than $20 a head...near impossible, I tell you.
But, we ended up eating at a chinese restaurant by me, in Rockville Centre one night, called Jani. So, we asked them about having the rehearsal dinner there. It's the CUTEST place, the food is awesome, and we were able to get a great package (without beer and wine, family are not drinkers, and it's the night before wedding, so I don't want anyone losing their dinner that night), for $15.95 per person!
They have a private party room, it's alot of food, AND it's something DIFFERENT for the night before the wedding. it's not the same meal stuff they will eat the next day.
So, in short, I think you should try and check out some nicer Chinese food places in the area you are looking for. It might be the money saver you are looking for.
