What is the average price you ladies are spending on hair and makeup for the day of your wedding?

For hair $175, makeup either $100 or $120 (dont remember exactly).

$150 for hair including extensions, $150 for airbrush makeup

I'm paying a lot more, but what the ladies above are quoting is what you should expect to pay. On average, depending upon the application and who you are using, makeup will run between $100-$150. Hair would be about the same as well for the bride.

For me....
$45 for hair
$65 for MU (includes a facial)

My hairdresser does not charge a 'wedding' fee for the same hairstyle she would give any other day.

I think there are several factors that can impact the price.

1. Going to a salon is usually less expensive that having someone come to you.
2. The complexity of your hair style and the length of your hair should be a factor in the the price.
3. The number of people getting hair and make up can also play a role as some artist will charge less per person if there are more people there.

Given all that I think hair often runs around $150 for the bride and less for each bride's maid.
Makeup seems to be running around $100 for the bride.

I'm going to my regular salon - the same hairdresser that has been doing my hair for 11 years!

My hair - $70
Bridesmaid hair - $60 each
Make-up - $40 each (me & girls)
