I am getting sad

Is anyone else getting sad with the more they accomplish? I feel like 'what am I going to do when this is over?' I love the planning and excitment, everytime I book something else I miss thinking about it

I know I am silly.

We are less than 1 month away and just want to get it done. Planning is over now. SOme things I'd like to do again, like gown shopping.

But I often wonder what I will do with my spare time once this is over. My thoughts are always occupied with wedding details. I might actually HAVE spare time again. That excites me.

I'm all over the place. Sometimes I get sad because the day isnt coming fast enough and sometimes I get sad because once the day is over the bridal experience is over.

Some things about wedding planning I've enjoyed and other things I really haven't.

I am happy to have the things stressing me out gone but, I'm not sure what I'm going to do after it's over. I still have 274 days to go though!

I know what you're talking about... I feel like it's going to be a little bit of a letdown when the wedding is over and I won't have any more planning at ALL! I soooo want to go into something in the wedding business after my wedding. I never realized before how much I LOVE weddings!!

I think everyone feels this way to some extent- you spend months, even years planning and then its all over in the blink of an eye.
I know I will feel a little sad after its over, but I really am excited to start my new family. It will also be nice to be able to go shopping again!

I know I am definitely sad that the wedding is over. I don't miss the stress, but I actually really liked the planning.

I was just saying the other day... we are going to be so bored once all this planning is over. It consumes so much of my life. Its so fun though (so far)

I know how you feel. I LOVE thinking about wedding stuff all of the time. I am excited to move on in my life, get a house, have kids life will always have something going on. Enjoy everything!

The planning is so much fun and you plan for sooo long for one day but look at how many more things you have ahead of you to plan....house, kids a new life with your hubby......there is soooo much more to look forward to. We can always pop back on the site and help the other girls

Looking for the dress is the best part for me. But the planning is stressing me out. I might feel differently when i'm done.

Me too, but it's getting better. I actually just allowed myself to pack away all our response cards, guest list, and pre wedding stuff.

What I miss the most is being the bride to be and the anticipation of my wedding day.

FH makes fun of me when i get a saturday or sunday to devote to a project....'what are you going to do after we're married?' and 'you are going to be so bored on July 10th.'

i just smile and tell him that i'll be busy in our bedroom. that shuts him up.

Not me - I am pleased with the way things are going, and am looking forward to having time to devote to finishing school and just getting on with my life.... I like coming on here and chatting when i am procrastinating from doing work, but I havent spent that much time planning lately - I spent the summer doing it when I had time...

Youre not silly bc i think the same thing. I think i will sit in front of my TV when i get my video back, w/ my gown on, and drink a bottle of wine and cry that its all over
