bridal party ?

What are your opinions on my brothers needing to be in the the bridal party?
I have 2 brothers, 1 sis. & my FH has 1 sister, 2 brothers. I am going to ask his sister to be in our wedding ( i was also just a bm in her wedding 9/05)
He definatly wants his 2 bros. & 3 best friends to be in it. I'm going to have 6 or 7 bm's. He would like to ask my 3 guy friends also that are all married to my bm's b/c we have all became very close over the last few years.
I mentioned it to my mom of who he was going to ask & she was like your brothers need to be in the w/party. I thought about and was like, I guess they should be in the wedding and would like them to be in it too. We don't have to ask the 3 guy friends on my side, they won't be offended at all but would like them in it but w. my bros too, it's way to many people. I'll need like 3 limos..lol

You should do what makes you happy. If you want them all to be in it, then ask them all! I'm sure they would all be honored.
I personally, chose to only have a MOH and a BM just because I didn't want it to end up with too many people..but it sounds like you do want them all so you should go for it.

I agree!

At first, we mapped out what would be a huge BP but, in the end we decided that we wanted to just have 5 and 5.

i don't think they neccessarily need to be in the BP. they can be included in other ways, such as walking the mothers down the aisle, etc.

Don't feel so bad, I have 6 brothers and NONE of them are in the bridal party. They are however going to be ushers. My FI has chosen those closest to him, and don't get me wrong, he's close with all my brothers, but comparing 3 1/2 years of our relationship together, with a lifetime of friendship with his GM, theres NO comparison. Hopefully you get some insight from this.
