Re: Florist Quote

That sounds like a good deal to me. I am also using peony and I know they are very expensive flowers. I have been to a lot of weddings Pedestals have done and they have all been very happy with them. My advice is use who you feel comfortable with.

I am paying less than $3k and I have about 20 high CP, 18 people in my bridal party, 2 pedestals for the church and the little extras (flowers for cake etc).

I am using Signature Florist in Bellmore.

Re: Florist Quote

It sounds like a lot to me, especially for low centerpieces. We're paying around 1500 at Signature Florist for all roses. 5 BM/MOH bo-k's, mens' boutonnieres, table centerpieces (don't remember how many), my bok-, toss away bo-k, cake flowers, rose petals, church pew decorations with flowers, 2 baskets of long stemmed roses for the altar... and they'll have water tubes on the end of each one so that they can be handed to the guests later on. Go see George at Signature... he was the second florist we went to, and we booked him immediately.

Re: Florist Quote

Check out Flower Michele and then check out Flowers by Brian. They are blocks from each other. I loved Flowers Michelle and then I went over to Flowers by Brian. He was 700.00 cheaper for more than what I was getting at Michelle. So I went with Brian. His work is beautiful also, its just that every wedding I've gone to in the last couple of years used him and I wanted someone different but 700.00 is 700.00 in my pocket.....and his work is just as nice.

Re: Florist Quote

I would also try to negotiate the price. If another florist offers you a better price I would tell pedestals and see if they will come down. They came down $60 for each table and around $200 for the other stuff. So all in all I got them to come down over $900!!!! Negotiate! I am using peonies too. They are only in season for 10-14 days in June so they cost a lot more $$$.
