When to schedule first dress fitting?!

My dress has been in for a while and I wasn't sure when I wanted to schedule my first fitting. The bridal salon suggested a little over 2 months b/f the wedding. However, I think I might lose some weight between now and whenever the 2nd fitting would be (in which case I'd lose a bra size - it's always the first thing to go when I lose weight ). So, my question for you very helpful ladies is, how far in advance of the big day did/will you schedule your first fitting? TIA!

Why don't you make your first fitting the end of april then? This way you will have lost some weight and then when you go for another fitting in mid may, it won't be that drastic of a difference? What do you think?

My wedding is April 8th
1st fitting was Feb. 25th.
2nd fitting is March 16th.

I agree - I'm making my appointment for April. I don't see why I need to get fitted 2 1/2 months before the wedding! Thanks for your help.
