orange dresses? too much like halloween?

Hey girls,

Just wondering if any of you were thinking about doing orange dresses. I would love a bright orange for an august wedding, but i'm afraid that next to black tux's it'll look like halloween. what do you think?

It really depends on the shade of Orange you were thinking also.

Maybe do Orange flowers instead of Orange dresses?

I definitely don't think halloween. I've seen a bunch of beautiful dresses in a burnt orange. Not sure if you meant something like this or crayola box orange. If you have pictures of what your thinking of.....please post!!

I looove a tangerine orange color - with yellow and pink flowers----so summery!!!

i think orange is fine, it depends on the shade. jessica mcclintock has a very pretty burnt orange shimmery dress that would look great with ivory flowers!

I have seen some gorgeous orange colored dresses, especially in the fall

ive seen brides doing the orange and hot pink theme- looks really nice and summery.

I think it depends on the shade of the dress. Orange would def. be summery and pretty with the right flowers. I'm an August wedding, too. I'm thinking of doing a Gold/Champagne. But, I think I'd have to be careful with that,too.

It really depends on the shade like everyone said...not bright, more of a neutral would b enice
