I really don't like my freaking cake...

The cake I wanted would cost me $1500, so thats out. The cakes that come with the hall are not my favorite. I feel like I picked out the 'least ugly' one.... ugh!

Just venting, I guess I am blessed in so many other ways that it's really not that important....

I'm getting a cake through my hall too and my florist is decorating it w/ real flowers.

My hall said that we can give them a picture of the cake we want if they don't have something we like and they will duplicate it. Ask them if they can do that, or at least give them an idea on what you want and maybe they can accomodate you. I'm sure they'll at least try.

people dont look at the cake dont worry how bad could it be.

just get something plain and have the florist put flowers on it.

You could take a picture of the cake you love to King Kullans. there willing to do mine for a 100 people for a fraction of the cost it would have been at a bakery. I can't hurt to try. If that fails why not just get a plain cake and ask your florest to decorate it.

I thought that too, I'm getting my cake through my hall, but when you think about it in the sceme of things, so much more will be going on and the cake will hardly get any attention. Have your florist dress it up with flowers.
