question about favor bag gift tags...what should I write?

oops!

ok, so I am planning of using mini paper shopping bags with handles (5x3x8 inches) to place my ice cream scoops and sprinkle favors in.

on the outside I wanted to place a personalized sticker, but personalized with the guests' names. this is what I had so far, but it is pretty generic. do you think it's lame just to write this

Thank you so much, John and Jane Doe, for sharing in our day.

the following quote will be on all of the stickers

A day in April never came so sweet.

I hope I didn't confuse anyone...really I just want help with the 'thank you'

Jess.. I would just keep it really generic and write:

'Thank you for sharing our special day'

Once you get your thank you cards- you can personalize it with their names & a special message.

I agree with Janie! Follow the KISS method, keep it simple stupid. Make it easy on yourself and just say 'Thank you for sharing in our special day'.

We didn't even do that. We just put our names and date on the favor tag. We'll send out TY cards after the wedding.

Using what you already have, I would put the following on the sticker:

A day in April, never came so sweet. Thank you for sharing in our special day John & Mary!

thanks girls. I really have my heart set on putting the guests names on the tags. It's really not a big deal at all. just a matter of changing the names in each box.

Chris, I really 'need' to have that line properly quoted....I know, I am OCD, but I can't help it.

I guess I will leave it the way I have it...

should it just be Thank you...or Thank you so much....or Thank you from the bottom of our hearts...

what if you didnt phrase it like a senetence??

like put JOHN & JANE - thank you for sharing in our special day...

also - is there an elizabethan way to say thank you?? (im just throwing that out there to brain storm)

I meant to leave it as you have. I'm anal about quotes as well.

I would just put the quote like a template on all the bags, and then use the personalized thank you on a different part of the bag.

I would just say 'Thank You' - adding extra adjectives doesn't sit well with me - not as formal.

how about

'We are forever thankful that you were able to share our special day with us, now take your scoop and get the steppin'






I think a simple thank you on a nice tag is perfect.
