BIG NEWS!!

It has been a crazy week! Some of you know my FH lives upstate (4 1/2 hour away) and I was planning to move there after the wedding. Well, he got a job offer closer (about 2 hours away) for an assistant manager position in the same field and much more money. They want him right away, so we met in the town to check out the area, spent the day looking for apartments, and signed a lease!! Life changes so fast!! Best part is it's 2 1/2 hours closer to our family!! And he can still keep working fill-in at CBS.

Great news!!! I always mean to look for him on Channel 6 when I'm upstate!...What area will he be in now?

He will still work for CBS Albany. It will be a 2 hour drive, but it's usually only once a week and we want him to keep doing it. He spoke to the cheif about the move and they still want him to do it if he is willing to drive. They already gave him another date to be on TV. He was also on about 2 weeks ago. Here is a clip:

YAY!! Where will you be living now?

Wappingers Falls (about 1/2 hour closer to NY than Poughkeepsie). I think it's a 1 hour train ride to NYC.

ETA: FH's job is in Hopewell Junction. I don't know if anyone would know these places, but I figured people would know Poughkeepsie.

Oh! I know Wappingers! My aunt lived there and I spent lots of summers there. My friend just built a huge house there :)
