What are you having everyone throw when you walk out of the church? Rose petals? Confetti? Streamers?

Ou Church said it didn't want a mess - otherwise we pay for it! So FH and I decided on doing bubbles!

Is your florist giving you the rose petals at no charge? How much do they generally cost?

We aren't allowed rice or flowers. So, and Irish tradition (which my fiance and I are both), is to ring small bells. So, that's what we are doing.

I didn't throw anything b/c the church didn't allow it so we did a dove release, which was prettier than i imagined! (and no, the doves don't poop on anyone and they are trained to fly home!) it's really safe........

We are having an outdoor ceremony, so we are releasing balloons with postcards that say 'Please return with a note saying where this was found' attatched to them. We're going to be right on the ocean, so they should go pretty far, lol. We'll see!

Our church doesn't want us to throw petals but it's ok with me b/c I am doing ribbon wands

i want to do rose petals but i don't know if church allows it. they havent' said anything so Im not asking.
but i was in a wedding recently and the rice really hurts. also it was stuck in all of our hair all day.

our church frowns upon rice because 'there are starving people in this world and we should be throwing food.'. Luckily for me, I wanted rose petals all the way, and they're okay with that.

I want my aisle runner to have rose petals the entire way down, but I don't know if I should ask them that. I don't want them to say 'no', but I also don't want to get them mad on our wedding day. Who would be in charge of cleaning that up after the ceremony?
