Poll: Please vote on where we should put the names that are commonly put on the inner envelope.

Okay, we have pocketfold invites and I am trying to decide where to put the names that are commonly on the inner envelope for example, John and guest.

Please vote, and if you have a different suggestion, let me know...I am open!!

Here are my thoughts on each choice--

1. On the seal--Eh, not too fond of this b/c FH wants to put or monogram and date on there

2. Fill in response card--Eh, what if I put John and Mary, but Mary can't go and John wants to bring Jane??

3. On the outer envelope--I think it's a bit 'bulky' to put Mr. & Mrs. John Doe and family *OR* Mr. & Mrs. John Doe and write out kids names. There are nto THAT many like this, but still....

Someone I know put it on the outer envelope... it looked fine... so I say outer envelope.

I had pocketfold invites, and sealed them with a wax seal. We put the 'inner envelope names' on the ooutside of the pocketfold - if you count the side with the seal as the 'back', I wrote the names on the 'front'. I used a calligraphy pen and wrote nicely.

They came out nicely. I had 4x9 pocketfolds.

We did it on the seal that closed the pocketfold, but only for those invited with a guest. For those that weren't, our monogram went on it. It turned out great! Everyone commented on how nice the invites looked. JMO!
