FAKE FLOWERS

So my mother is Mrs. Crafty and she will be making our Bo-Ks. (We are trying to cut costs on certain things because we will be buying a house around the time we getting married)--(we are buying my FH parents house when they leave to live in Floridia)...anyway

Has anyone used fake flowers or will be using fake flowers for there Bo-ks. If so any advice to help me figure out where I can get flowers that look as real as possible. I went to patchogue floral and didnt really love anything there.
Please help!!

Re: FAKE FLOWERS

My sisters wedding (5 yrs ago) we all had fake flowers. They were dried flowers actually. The nice thing is that we all stil have them today. Try doing a seach on google for dried flowers. I will ask my sister where they got them from (my Aunt was Mrs. Crafty and made them) and if she knows, I will FM you. Did you try Michaels or AC Moore?

Re: FAKE FLOWERS

i would try searching online and ordering maybe a stem here and there if you like them to see how they are..
there have been a few i have been on looking for stuff.. one www.afloral.com

i ordered callas from there for my centerpiece since they will be submerged in water... i figured real ones would eather float too much/possibly go bad faster being submerged in watner and atleast guests can take them home and reuse them as is.. (anyone who has seen my centerpiece, mostly my aunts, keeps asking how to 'win' one)..

Good luck

Re: FAKE FLOWERS

Believe it or not, some fake flowers cost more than real flowers!!

so you might want to check out both and see whats cheaper..

Re: FAKE FLOWERS

save-on-crafts has some good prices on silk flowers - not sure if its what you're looking for.
