Has anyone ever seen or heard of something really over-the-top at a wedding?

Yes, mine
The most over the top wedding was one my friend coordinated for Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas. They hated the rugs at the Plaza, pulled them, put in their own rugs and then repurchased and laid down the original rugs.
