Re: Good Ring Cleaner?

here is another weird one....go in a hot tub. the chemicals in the hot tub make your ring sparkle like you've never seen. the night before the wedding I had my hand in my IL's hot tub soaking away!

Re: Good Ring Cleaner?

I bought Caribbean Gem from QVC and it's AMAZING!! it has no chemicals at all. so you can even use it on pearls and costume jewelry.

Windex or ammonia. 3 parts water, 1 part windex or ammonia. Soak in warm water, brush with a soft bristle brush to remove anything that may be left behind and run under warm tap water. Shine like you'll never believe!

Re: Good Ring Cleaner?

The hot tub might get your diamond clean but it is not good for your metal. Chlorine can be very damaging to certain metals...especially gold. Most people do not know this and do wear their jewelry in the pool but I have done some research on it and it is not a good idea.
You may want to try windex or a small amount of amonia in water like somethingblu said...it really works.

I soak in regular Fantastik, then rinse with hot water, then rinse with cold water. Does the job...
