Re: made 2 appts to look at

I dont anything about crest hollow but i have heard CB is beautiful and does great weddings. The one thing I dont like about CB is that it it right on Old Country Road. It is not setback or anything. I think the windows for one of the rooms looks onto the road. JMO...i like more privacy.....and an overall feeling of setting.

Re: made 2 appts to look at

I visited Crest Hollow a few weeks ago. It wasnt expensive. I can't remeber exactly,,,,but I think it was a little over $100 for a saturday night in July of 2007. I think like $105 actually! The employees there are so helpful and friendly,,,and my MOH loved that they had rolling bars there, bars that actually come to each table!! It was very nice! I've heard wonderful things about CB too!

Re: made 2 appts to look at

My wedding will be at CB. So far I have had a great experience with them. The price was the same for a Sat late afternoon as some other halls I saw - and for the same price CB offers A LOT more in terms of food and whatnot. They also have their own photogrpahy studios which is awesome for me since I am getting married in February! I ultimately love the art deco feel there and I love the fact that it is very very spacious in the lobby for when my guests arrive there.

Yes, it is on Old Country Rd which can be a pain, but I have driven there many times and have had no problem. I highly recommend the Chateau Briand. After seeing about 12 other halls and feeling very disappointed about not finding 'the one' I was happy to see and book CB!!!

Good luck!

Re: made 2 appts to look at

ive been to crest hollow...I liked it alot...my best friend is getting married there this september...as for Chateau Briand my other good friend is getting married there too this september...its nice and it has an indoor stufdio inside to take pictures....it really depends on what kind of catering hall you want...are you more an outdoors person where you would want something on a golf course, field or water? or do you prefer something more elegant inside? it also depends on what time of year too...you dont want to book a place that has a nice view of the water or lake or something and it be December?

Hope i was helpful!!!
