Recommendations for caterer for post-reception party?

Hi ladies - need some help. Having a morning wedding, afternoon reception. Renting a tent and inviting all the people back to the house for a post-reception party - about 200 people. We did it after my sister's wedding and had a great time! We were back at the house by 6 pm but people were hungry again by 9 - heck they were hungry until we went to bed at 4 a.m. Anyway, we were able to cater (heros, pasta salads) for about $9 a head w/service, but that was b/c we used a friend of the family who is no longer in business. I need some recommendations that won't break the bank!

Try a local deli. My family uses a local deli in which we get hot food and hero....they even come and set it up if you get enough. I dont think they offer servers though. You could do a search on here for off-site caterers. I KNOW Ive seen them posted. I was looking for one in the beginning. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU

I don't know where you live, but have you heard of Iavarone Bros? They have a couple of locations and they are very good. Though I don't know how much they charge. Recommendations for caterer for post-reception party?

The Ground Round in Roslyn has pamphlets on their tables about catering home events. I believe they have service, and if it is a BarBQ, they even supply the grill. I haven't been there in a couple months, so I don't know if they still offer this service. I thought of having them do an informal party the night before the wedding for my out-of-town guests and wedding party. I am not sure yet if we will have an actual rehearsal.
