chateau briand.. we went there today and i think its gorgeous.. if we do decide to go with this place, we would get the room on the first floor with the rising dance floor.. for chateau brides that know what im talking about, do you feel like i can go with any type of theme in that room? its very gold and blue so im not sure? my thoughts were pink and brown or a safari look (browns, reds, dark woodsy feel) or aqua and brown (underwater type theme) do you think i could get away with any of this without spending a million dollars in draperies and lights?

I haven't been in that room before but I like your ideas with color. The pink/brown and blue/brown look really great together. I went to a wedding last October and the colors were pink/brown....teh bm's dresses were soooo pretty. Sorry....I don't know if any of this will help...Good Luck!

Chateau Briand is a nice place to hold cermony and recprion ( Isee you were looking for a place from you other post).

I will not lie, but the color scheme has been making me CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZY since we booked. I think that you can do any of the colors you mentioned. I am a bit on the anal side so I am putting the girls in red or blue, CPs will be red and white and boks will be red-b/c I just cant step out of the gold, red and blue box. My invitations are navy too...call me anal I am ok with it!

ETA: if you go with those colors I would go with the aqua not the pink and maybe the safari-that sounds awesome
