Nice place for a VERY large engagement party??

I have a huge family and I am looking for a nice place to hold an engagement party for 300 people My aunt asked me about this, I think she is thinking about throwing me an engagement party

Look into leonard's of Great Neck. They have large rooms that hold that amount of people.... Depending on what you want to spend of course, but i think it was pretty decent. Look into it.

I'm having a big engagement party next week (270 people) at Antun's in Hicksville.

It's not a wedding place or anything, but still fancy enough for an engagement party I feel.

Russo's on the Bay in Howard Beach Queens. Their biggest room holds 300+ and you would make your entrance into the room on a grand staircase...it's really beautiful and the food is amazing!

jeez!! i thought my e-party was big LOL, it is very nice of your aunt to throw it for you though!!
... when i was looking for myself i received a FM from someone at Giorgio's in Baiting Hollow and when I called they had me speak to Giorgio himself and he was great. It depends on what you (or your aunt) wants to spend but my cousin's wedding was there and it was nice. If you are looking for this summer he said they still have dates open. It's so beautiful in the summer there. good luck!!

the only other thing i can think of is posting this on the vendors helping brides board, i did that and got a few good responses!

hi i was wondering if you could tell me a price range for russo's they dont give quotes over the phone and i live in westchester and dont want to make the hike if its totally out of my budget. thanks i appreciate it!!

if you know anyone in the Fire Department, the firehouses are always great & are reasonably priced....my cousin had hers at one & it was beautiful...dancefloor & all...
