Need to lose weight!!!
I'm getting really frustrated... Our engagement photo shoot is in 5 weeks, and my weight is going the wrong direction.I'm trying to eat better...I know I'm not doing great - but definitely better, and I'm working out - not as much as I should though - I know that.
Sorry - I know it's me, just needed to vent! Why is it so easy to put weight on, and so impossible to take it off?!

I hear you! I gained more weight after I had my baby, who is now 3 months old, than I did the entire time I was pregnant! But one of my BM's and I decided we are going to start walking next week.The only other suggestion I have heard that might work is not keeping any junk food in the house. For me it's impossible, what with three boys and my FH not caring about what they eat! I need more willpower!!!

You think you got it bad! My wedding is in 100 days and I've only lost 6 lbs!!! I've been working out alot more and like you, I've been eating better but not the way that I should. I can see my body toning up but the weight isn't coming off. I think it's turning into muscle. Yay!

Good luck, you can do it. Just put your mind to it...I started in Jan. & lost 25 lbs., it can be done. I just joined the gym this week & on weekends I let myself cheat....

My FH and I aren't doing our engagement shoot until we're somewhat happy with how we look. The warmer weather will give us more opportunities to get out and swim, play tennis, walk, jog, etc. As frustrated as I am now, I can't WAIT for warmer weather and longer days!! Maybe you can push your e-shoot back a bit if you're not happy? You don't want to not like your pics! Maybe give yourself some warm weather time to get more active? Just an idea...

Stay focused and start small. I cut out bread from my diet and now eat wraps. I do cruntches each morning as 4 sets of 30 (start with 10 at first). From here, I joined a one day a week course in pilates - if you don't have the ability to join a class - try buying the video! Just be positive. You are beautiful the way you are - it's one of the reasons our FH love us!!!

You need do buckle down and just do it. Work out as much as you can and PUSH yourself. Pretty soon it will be an addiction and you won't want to stop. It's so hard in the beginning but it gets easier.

This is so true. It takes a lot of focus and mind of matter. I in the midst of this as well.

My friend lost weight after she started taking pilates once a week..... Then, her bf started and he lost weight, too!!

My FH and I love food!!! It's hard for me to cut out the foods I love so I just eat smaller portions.... I also try to walk as much as possible and always use the stairs!!!!

Yeah it's been great for my muscles - some of which I've never used before and the new semi-new diet is helping keep the extra pounds off! I skimp once a week with scrambled eggs and bacon and english muffins for Sat. morning breakfast - but my dress till fits and that is what I'm trying to maintain!

i joined Weight watchers and have been walking as much as i can. i just got back from a little under 4 mile walk with my best friend(MOH)

Try weight watchers. I am a big fan of it. I have lost 50 pounds and kept 40 of it off for over 2 yrs now. I go up and down with the 10 pounds depending on the time of year (holidays, vacations, stress) It is pretty easy to follow if you put your mind to it. I would recommend going to the meetings. Even if it is an express meeting which is only 30 minutes. If you have any questions, FM me. Good luck.

It is harder to take it off than put it on...but you are taking steps in the right direction eating better and exercising have you tried something to give your metabolism a boost that might help too.

Stay focused and have the willpower!!! It will be very hard in the beginning, but once you stay on the diet for about a week or so and you see the scale going down, you will not want to stop. It is all about willpower and staying on track! Good Luck!!! You can do it!
