Printing Envelopes

For those who printed up their own envelopes, what font type and font size did you use for the Outer Envelope?

Also, what size did you use on the inner envelope and did you use the same font type as the outer envelope.

I don't want to use anything too fancy on the outer as I want it to be legible for the post office. But I'm not sure how big I should go.

TIA!

We used 24 pt font for inner and outer....surnames in 36 pt font

They came out so well that I got a few calls from guests asking where I had the calligraphy done

Sorry for the 'fuzzy' pics but I did it that way since I would not want my home address legibly posted on a public website

Re: Printing Envelopes

Christine, that's an awesome site. I didn't know about it. Thanks because I didn't really love any of the fonts I found in Word.

Re: Printing Envelopes

I did mine in CAC Champagne font size 22 in bold. The inner and outer were exactly the same and they were centered on the envelope. They came out great! I didn't want to get too into curly fonts cause I was afraid of the mail men mixing things up so this was the fanciest but still simple font I could find.

Here's a pic off my cell phone sorry I dont have better :(

Re: Printing Envelopes

These are great. Thanks ladies. I hadn't realized that people used font sizes so large. And I didn't realize that we had to spell everything out. I'm so stupid when it comes to this stuff, so this really helps.
