Re: centerpieces and oval tables

I've seen a few pics (on the CP Thread I think) of oblong tables with small groupings of flowers that run down the middle of the table, maybe ontop of a runner in a coordinating color. I think that looks really nice. I've also seen high floral centerpieces on oblong tables or low floral centerpieces that are sort of oblong in shape themselves. I'll try to find the CP thread and bump it for you...

Re: centerpieces and oval tables

We had oval tables, and this is what we did. We scattered bamboos, candles, and flower petals on the tables. The first pic is from above and the second is the closeup of the bamboo centerpiece.

Re: centerpieces and oval tables

This is what my CP will like - these are long oval tables...

I suggest votives, pillars, or petals down the table to elongate...

Re: centerpieces and oval tables

my florist showed me a picture of something he had done for long tables...it was a long thin cylandar vase laying on it's side...with the open end propped up slightly by a stone (river rock). Inside the vase was an orchid, stem and all...with a shallow pool of water at the bottom. Votives, etc. all around...very pretty, very different.
