hmm good question- well i guess like italian or something? My dads friend is coming in from toronto and wants to take his wife and my parents to a nice restaurant in the city0- he asked my dad if he knew of the best restaurants in the city so he asked me and of course i came to you

Where in the city will they be???If you want something like family style I would suggest Carmines which is in the theater district...
There is also Farillios in Columbus Circle which is also great...
Both nice restaurants...

carmines is awesome, i would try and see if you can call ahead and make a reservation though, otherwise there could be a really long wait.some other good places are Cite and Capital Grill.

This place isn't super expensive, but I'm totally in love with Mediterraneo, up in the 70s I believe...very creative menu.

One if by land in SoHO I think or maybe its in Greenwich Village...supposed to be really romanticAlso the Blue Sea Grill...I cannot remember the exact name its in Union Square
I haven't been a city girl in such a long time I cannot remember the great places i have been too

There is a place called Trattoria Trecolori in the theatre district as well that had AMAZING Italian food. It was soooooooooooo deliciousl I definitely recommend it!!
