We had our FINAL Menu Meeting Last Night!!!!!

I just C&P'd this from the Fox Hollow Thread...

So we went for our 'Final Menu' meeting last night, which covers basically everything, not just the menu selection as I originally thought. Jenn N was absolutely amazing, fun, sweet, great to work with!!!! FI and I told her that she can come live with us b/c we loved her so much (no perverted intentions!) She answered every single one of my fourteen questions w/out batting an eye. We went over EVERYTHING possibly imagined, so that we're pretty set until April 20 when we call for the headcount, and the week before when we make our final payment!

We picked our menu, selected our cake (yellow sponge w/vanilla custard and fresh strawberries,) she gave us the seating chart, other details about vendors we have to provide, we picked our linens (ivory and GOLD - of course) and we added the CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN and yes, the CHAIR COVERS! I'm so glad I never placed the order for the chair covers online like I originally was going to do. We also picked our bridal attendant (Jen - thanks to Hollie) and our MD (Angel - who was the first person I met at Fox Hollow and knew it was an 'omen'.)

Sooooo...I honestly could not be happier! Everything is exactly how I imagined it and what we both wanted! We're so excited and so happy to have picked Fox Hollow!

Hollie: I asked if you had mini or the full viennese - turned out that WAS the mini!!!!! Could you imagine what the full would be like? Geezzz....Oh, and Jenn N. says hi and said the two of you were the 'sweetest and most romantic couple she had ever seen' and Ricky and I agreed 100000% and said that you and John are an example of what love truly is.

Oh, and to someone who asked what the chair covers look like: they're ivory damask...match the table covers exactly! Here's a picture I found online, though similar, not exact.

We selected the same cake Hollie had for her wedding, but it will be round instead of square. We will also be using purple instead of the red.

sounds great! i went to do my second to last final drop-off...and it went so well!!!!

the wedding train is acomin' choo choo!! (this guy in my office says that every morning to me....it's annoying)

I honestly never had too much contact with Fox Hollow...most of my questions were answered by the brides here.

The questions I had yesterday were as follows:

1) Who needs insurace? - Photographer/Florist/Band/DJ

2) What's the max in our room, and what happens if we go over? - 150, they'll add tables if you go over your max, taking away space on the dancefloor.

3) How much are kids and what ages? - 2-10 are 1/2 price

4) How much are vendors? - 1/3

5) Who gets tipped? - Maitre' D (about $3 per guest) & Bridal Attendant ($50-$75)

6) Do we need to schedule time for the photo studio? - Nope

7) We're not planning on attending our Cocktail Hour, will the same food be served to us? - Yes, in the bridal suite or the photo studio

8) Are there kids' menus? - Yes, they provide chicken nuggest, but the kids can order off the adult's menu if they'd like

9) Who sets up everything like the favors, menu's, cake topper, etc...? - Fox Hollow does, they gave me a paper with a list of items and such.

There were a few more, but they were kind of specific to what I have going on....don't worry about not having questions and such! You're fine, they take care of evrything!

Do you have to pay extra for a 4th tier on the cake? I see that Hollie had 4 and from what I recall they only give you 3.

How much was it to add on the chocolate fountain?
