Bride of the week

Dear Beautiful Brides of the '07 LIW Boards,

As a newbie, I did not quite know what this whole hooplah about bride of the week was.. I was actually just moved to tears reading all of the beautiful replies on Nina's thread about Eliana. I think this is the most amazing, sweetest, selfless, bride bonding, uplifting, encouraging, heartfelt acts- EVER...

I am totally with Shorty Mc whatever she is now affectionately known as -lushy pants, drunky pants, etc :) - when she says she wasn't able to hold friendships with girls. I was the same way, I had friends, but not TRUE girlfriends.. Simply because the girls I knew then were not selfless, caring, compassionate, and giving of themselves.. At a time when us girls can lose our heads, become self-centered, wrapped up in ourselves, be beeeotchy, etc.. you women find time to reach out, compliment each other, support each other, and lift each other up in words and actions.. It is amazing!!

I just wanted to say thank you girls for being so great to one another and I can't wait to form stronger bonds with the nicest girls 'i've never met' but hopefully one day do, as our *big day* draws closer..

Well put...I feel like I can ask and answer questions ranging from very personal to mundane...we really cover it all here. It's so relaxing to log on and read what is going on with everyone else, and get feedback from other women who are all going through the same thing. It is obvious that the ladies here really take the time and put thought into their answers to be helpful!

I cant agree more with you- this web site and in specific this board has been an absolute blessing to me and my FH. Not only are you ladies UNBELIEVABLY beautiful, creative, smart, caring and HONEST, but your friendship and kind words that you say every single day really touch people like me. Never in a gazillion years did I think I would form such friendships from people on the net and truly care about them. You girls are THE absolute best. Whether you girls are newbies or 'old timers' I want to thank every single lady out there- your words of wisdom and advice are soo appreciated. Keep rocking 07ers!!!!!!

I agree with everyone. I have learned sooo much from you girls. I also am no greatful for how friendly, honest, and caring everyone is. There is definately a bond grown with fellow 07ers and I am glad to have friends to talk to about anything

Yay Heather..I'm glad you feel this way!!!!

This truly is an amazing board, an amazing websites...and amazing things are said and done on a daily basis! Its why its so addicting!

We will all be brides of the week at some point. But we are all brides of the week, every week. We help one another, laugh with one another, discuss with one another, personal or wedding...and occasionally there is some drama but hey, thats life.

And I hope, Heather, that you come around and post more! This site truly is everything you said.

You can get so much out of this site...advice, vendors, discounts, prizes, opinions, help, but most importantly, FRIENDSHIP....and we all know how sacred that is!

I love all my brides..but especially my 07 gals!!!!
We're on big happy family!!!

And I agree getting married is such a wonderful experience, but it can be stressful and nerve wrecking as well. And who can understand you better than those in your same shoes? I was just telling FH today, that I hated the fact I couldn't go to the party on Sat. cause of work, and wasn't able to meet some of you. I think you are all incredibly smart, talented and wonderful ladies, and I am very happy and honored to be able to share this time with you girls.
