Custom made wedding rings in LI?

FH and I were thinking about going to a jeweler and having rings made - anyone else do this?

Where? How much? Any other info we need? We will be doing white gold - can't afford platinum, and my E-ring is white gold and sapphire...

I have heard Elsas makes custom rings, but I don't know much more about them, they are a vendor on here

My fiance' designed my ring and had a jewler make it. Now the jewler is busy and overwhelmed and couldn't commit to making a wedding band to match, so I had to look for something else to match, otherwise they take a mold of your ring and send it out. Too much work in the end. If i had to do it again, I would have looked for a set!

Good old Gold in Massapequa..It is a family owned business that has been around for over 25 years, and they are wonderful. Amy is a sort of designer, and basically runs the place. She is so sweet, and has so many great ideas. They are highly recommended all over the website, for their great ideas and wonderful prices. We even saw recommenadtions about them from people who live in California, and also many other out of towners. So, they are definitely well known, and well worth a trip over. Believe me, we live all the way out east (by the hamptons), and it is worth it to us to make the verrrrrrry long trip each time! So, if you need any more info, Fm me..and good luck!

DH and I had our rings made at Steven's Jewelry in Long Beach. They did such a great job, they made my band to match my e-ring (bought elsewhere) perfectly!!

my FH got my e-ring made at King Richard's Jewelers. He told them what he wanted and they made me my dream ring. We are looking into them to make our wedding bands as well. I'm not sure of the price, but everyone there is really friendly. They're located in the Smith Haven Mall.

We also used Elsa's in Farmingdale.
Both DH & I had our rings custom made.

I had mine custom made to match my e-ring of course, and DH had his done also. They were outstanding. I LOVE my ring! I think mine cost @$1,200 and DH's cost @$1,000. Now keep in mind, my ring is platinum with 6 diamond. DH's is white gold, brushed and polished with 6 diamonds as well. He is also a larger man with a ring size of 13!

My e-ring was and our wedding bands will be made by Rene Doumeng in East Islip on Montauk Hwy. He does awesome work!
