We are going over all the last minute budgety things, and we have no idea how much it costs... I am sure you ladies will know though!

it depends on which town clerk's office u go to.
we're going to go to the town of hempstead and it's $40 there (b/c they dont require a birth certificate)

we are huntington - everything is more expensive there - so I guess we'll figure betweeen 30-40 - thats still do-able!

i believe it is 40 on long island and 35 in the city.

Hmm - everyone is saying 'only' requiring birth cert and licence - are there places that require other things?

I believe it's $40 on LI (most places) and $35 in NYC.

Requirement: ID, birth certificate, divorce papers if previously married.

It vost us $40 and we needed either our birth certificate or passport.

I know!! Next time I will have to give you a heads up!!

Liza, we called the Town of Smithtown and Huntington. Both required drivers license or passport and birth certificate. FH couldn't find his birth certificate, so we went to Babylon because they didn't require the birth certificate, FH was able to use his passport instead of it.

I went to Hempstead and I think it cost 25 or 30. I definatly don't remember paying $40.

hempstead requires 2 forms of photo id- drivers lisence and passport
