Has anyone used T. Carlton Salon in St. James for hair or makeup?

I went there for a trial for hair and makeup, and while they didn't do a bad job, it was not at all what I had asked for, and the people I worked with didn't seem very open to suggestions.
The other thing that put me off was that in order for them to book my entire bridal party (8 girls and me) they wanted 50% of the final payment before the day of my wedding, and I had to send them a detailed 'who's who' kind of list detailing who was getting what. It seemed like way too much trouble. Oh, and the other thing that I wasn't thrilled with was that the 50% payment that was due in advance was non refundable if anyone or everyone canceled.

I ended up going with Kristen at Enchante, who did an awesome job. I highly recommend her. : )

Try Richard Jean, the Salon right in the next shopping center. The owners are very nice there, see what they will do!

Thanks so much for the advice. I know that a lot of people on this board have been talking about Kristen at Enchante lately. I will have to give her a call. I am very nervous becuase I have long curly hair and I have always had problems with people doing my hair. Thanks again for the help!!!
