Plus size BM dresses..pref bill levkoff

anyone know of any stores that carry plus size bridesmaid dresses (samples) in either size 18 or 20. preferably bill levkoff. thanks for any info!

i think levkoff only has samples in one size...whatever you see in a store. i think it's a 12. you may just have to have your girl try it on the best she can or have a smaller relative/friend try it on for shape and go from there. that's what i did

the style might not be good on her though because it has a string going across it, she wants to know where it's going to land on her body ya know.

Kleinfeld's Loft in NYC has some samples in plus sizes, but no Bill L.

My MOH was plus size and she wore a BL dress and looked great - I think she is an 18.

She's next to me on my left.

what designer made that bridesmaid dress with the cap sleeves? it's hard to find dresses with cap sleeves.

ETA - Sorry - misread the original post...not sure if they have samples - I think they have some larger size samples to at least get you closer.

I have a plus size bridesmaid, we're using Bill Levkoff 966. I got them all (we're having 10 bridesmaids) from gownfind.com. Phyllis was awesome and said that that style dress should be good, because it's A-Line. And I'm giving them the option if they want straps they can have them...these dresses could always be slightly altered. Plus...we're having the sash that goes around the dress the same color as the dress so it doesn't draw attention to anything but still looks beautiful.

i know she sounds awesome but the thing is i want my bridesmaid to try on a sample at a local store first, most places don't have a larger sample to try on.

I dont think anywhere has sample sizes in that size--I got a Bill Levkoff for my plus sized BM and it was SOOO annoying that she couldnt try it on at all. In fact, anyone who wears a street size over a 10 had a hard time trying them on. But wherever the dress falls on a smaller sized girl is where the string part should fall on the plus sized BM when the dress is in her size. The dresses will fall at the same place--just be scaled to different sizes. We are also having large straps added to the dress (something to thing about because my BM has a very large chest and cannot wear a strapless bra so it had to be something that covers her thick-strapped bra and came up high enough in the back.)
