Re: spray tan

I think it's great to do but you def. need to do it at least 5-6 days before! It gives it more time to set and look more natural! I'm probably going to do the same at some point...let me know where you go if you do!

Re: spray tan

My sister in law did that. I think you should do it at least 2 days before. It lasted for her about a week, they told her it should last about 2 weeks or so. But initally it can be very dark and you will need time to let it set and some comes off when you shower.

Re: spray tan

when I got it done it was gone by the third day...I was not happy with it...it looked great the first night, but t hen it started to smell and look good in certain areas, but in other areas I couldn't even tell it was there. I recommend real tanning...it is really bad for you, but it works and I'm just doing it for the 2 months before the wedding.

Re: spray tan

Dont do it the night before.. You may turn a crazy color and than the pics will really be bad.
Go for a spray tan at the TS Wed & Fri..
It will be even and no funky colors. I did it last year and it worked really good.. I did it 3 times. The color did not look orange.
becareful .. let us know what happens.

Re: spray tan

Ive never done it, but if you do want to do it, i would do a trial run a few weeks before your wedding to see how your skin looks/how long it lasts for you

Re: spray tan

I have had the airbrush tanning done at Spa Osio in Oceanside and it looked awesome everytime. I didnt look orange, it was even and lasted about a week.

Re: spray tan

I advise you not to do it the night before but 2 days prior ie. Thursday for a Saturday event. It's even better if you do it twice (to correct uneven color or first 'coat'). You need 2-3 days between coats.

There is 2 kinds... (Tried them both).

1/The spray 'booth'... DYI in a booth. It looked someone orange and uneven. It does not last more than 3 days on me and started to come off. I would not recommend that one.

2/ The airbrush. Much nicer and even. They could adjust the color according to my natural skin tone. In another, I am very fair and would have looked 'weird' in a deep chocolate tan.

You need a very good head to toe exfoliating job before doing it.

Pro: no UV...
Con: no figurous exercice (sweat) and it also transfers to clothing in back, belt area (but I was able to wash it out without a problem).

In any cases, it did not last more than 4 days on me (airbrush) without doing another coat.
