General Club Med Question (non-Caribbean)

FH is planning our HM and he was looking at Club Meds in Egypt, Morrocco, Malaysia and other assorted exotic destinations.

Has anyone been to a Club Med that wasn't in the carribbean? My main concern, of course, is the food. I assume the carribean ones are geared towards American tourists so the food is tasty. I wasnt sure, though, when you head to these exotic places what it would be like?

Do most Club Meds have just one restaurant? Is it a buffet?

Ive done all-inclusives before but never a Club Med so I dont know what to expect.

I think the food varies. I've never been, but I looked into the Club Med in Bora Bora. That one only had a buffet.

I just saw an ad that Club Med in Martinique just finished a $60 million renovation...looked really nice!

Me too, we looked into Club Med in Bora Bora but didn't want just a buffet (in one restaraunt) the entire HM, so went with Fiji for more meal-inclusive resorts.
Trip advisor should give you a good idea of what the food, and resorts, are like.
