Looking for restaurant ideas (Not Wedding Related)

My husband`s birthday (1st since we`re married) is coming in a couple of weeks and I`m looking for ideas for restaurants. I`m thinking I`d like something romantic where the tables aren`t crammed on top of eachother. I don`t really have a specific area in mind, but would probably prefer to stay in the areas of Commack, Dix Hills, Deer Park, Babylon, Bay Shore, Islip. All suggestions are welcome. Please share your favorite restaurants and, if you can, tell a little about the place too. Thanks so much!!

Looking for restaurant ideas (Not Wedding Related)

Hi Kel, I wholeheartedly recommend a restaurant that is attached to the Walt Whitman Mall. The food was absolutely delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and it's a really clean and romantic restaurant. We also had one of the nicest waiters I have ever come across. I'm sorry but I can't remember the name of it, I think it was something like Leger's. Definitely check it out. :-)

Legal Seafood Barbara??

Maybe. I am horrible at remembering names. But that sounds about right.

Ruvo's in Greenlawn

Ruvo's is my favorite restaurant on the island. It is in Greenlawn - phone # 631-261-7700. They serve Italian food, pretty reasonably priced and a great atmosphere. Hope you like it as much as I do.

where is ruvos?

I second the recommendation of Ruvo - We were just there for Valentine's Day and we both loved it. Great food, very romantic atmosphere and reasonable prices. Be sure to make a reservation.
