SOOOO Upset and Ready to Cry...

So my brilliant and thoughtful fiance decided... no, INSISTED... that he NEEDED to see the pictures from his cousin's bar mitzvah THIS SECOND and that he just HAD to have them uploaded onto the computer RIGHT NOW. So needless to say, in the process of doing so, we lost many key pictures necessary for the wedding-- namely, about 30 pictures or so from both my hair and makeup trials! I am totally freaking out, b/c my hairstylist and makeup artist took so many pictures of me so that she'd be able to fully re-create my look at my trials, since I absolutely loved them so much.

What should I do? Do you think I should schedule another hair and makeup trial, so that she has pictures to go off of for the wedding?

I'm guessing it's on a digital camera?! Well I'm not sure if you deleted them completely or just re-formated it b/c if you take into a good camera store they can sometimes reboot them somehow. I did this on my cruise and I started re-taking the pictures and that is what killed me so don't take any pictures....try taking it to a camera shop and see what they say first!!

Not sure where you live but one by me that is great is Neptunes on 7th street in Garden City! Hope this helps a little

I would try to have them recovered. If that doesn't work I would redo the hair trial. Its better to straighten this out now instead of waiting for your big day.

You guys are so smart-- now I know why I come on here! I told my fiance what you guys said, and he brought it into a local camera shop (the one on 7th St. in GC was closed today so he brought it somewhere in Carle Place), and the guy at the shop said he's pretty sure he can restore the pictures! FYI-- they can only restore pictures on a memory card, NOT pictures stored on the camera's hard drive. Just something to keep in mind.
