Standard Amt of Time to Send Shower Invites

Hi guys, as you know I know when my shower is & my MOH was asking WHEN she should send out invites. My shower is June 3.

HELP!

I don't want to do it too far that people forget, or too close that they are booked (its a busy time w/ communions, etc.)

PS---my bachelorette party is the same nite, she was asking when to send the 'evite' to those girls.

I know mine is May 21 and we are sending the invites out today- and the RSVP date is April 23rd. I would send them 2 months ahead. I would have sent them a few days ago but the invitation place messed up the day of the week and they had to be re-done. I would send them around April 3rd in your case.

My MOH got married last year. That's what her mom did:

Invite: 2 months prior to shower
RSVP: 4 weeks prior to shower

I sent out my cousins shower invites 5 weeks prior to the shower. People were veerry slow in responding. I am still waiting for rsvp from cousins FSIL and the shower is on saturday.....

Hmm, I think they were sent out in February.
RSVP was March 1
Shower was March 18

for a shower-- I think 6 weeks in advance is ok. I am doing SIL's shower and it's on May 20th-- we hope to get the invites out by the weekend... RSVP date will be April 28th.
