Songs for Play list

I haven't really sat down to do my lists yet, but I know on my must play list will be Greece. My college roommates and I used to watch that movie ALL the time and my cousin's and I had a blast singing it at my aunt and uncles wedding last year. (I think it's one that everyone knows and can sing along to). I'll probably also add Billy Joel's Piano Man and New York New York. And on my Do Not Play list will be all those corney wedding songs...chicken dance etc.

The big Dont's are: 'We Are Family', 'Celebration', 'I Will Survive' (I don't get why they play that at a wedding) The big Do's are 'Jump Around'-House of Pain, 'Copacobana'- Barry Manillow 'Friends in Low Places' Garth Brooks

My DJ played what he wanted

I would have a list ready for your DJ with all the songs you DEFINITELY want to hear and DON'T want to hear. And stress what is really important to you. I told me DJ I wanted no group dances (i.e. Electric Slide, Macarena, etc) but he did them anyway. Someone told me that they do them anyway as publicity for their company. Mention that to them and see what they say.

Songs for Play list

I do not want the chicken dance, macarena, electric slide, YMCA, We are Family, Shout... the list goes on. I do not want any participation dances! I do want Frank Sinatra, Italian Music, GOOD dance songs and slow songs.
