Destination Wedding
Hi,I was hoping someone could help, especially if you've already booked your honeymoon!
We had our wedding booked for next summer in Dorado, Puerto Rico, and were told last week that the resort (Hyatt) is closing as of this May!!! As a result, we no longer have a destination for our wedding next July. As you can imagine, I'm extremely upset. We are desperately looking for another location, preferably in PR, but will look into any other islands. We're trying to find a place that is not only beautiful, but affordable (hotel and air) for our guests. If anyone has any suggestions on locations/hotels/resorts that you may have had your wedding at, attended a wedding at, or honeymooned at, I would GREATLY appreciate it. I can use any help I can get!!
TIA

Re: Destination Wedding
I know the Sandals resorts provide wedding accomodations - in fact my nail person spent an hour telling me about her reknewal of vows on her 25th wedding anniversary at the Sandals resort in the Bahamas and it sounded magical.FM me if you want a TA who specializes in the Sandals resorts.
However, you could also get married in Key West, FL. A family friend had her wedding set for down here and the pictures they showed us where the ceremony would have been was perfect as they were going to get married at sunset and then have an evening reception at a restaurant that overlooked the water. Sadly, the couple broke up, but it's still a wonderful place to try.
