Am I the first August bride to have their shower? My shower was yesterday!!!
They got me
To really throw me off, they had my shower 4 months before the wedding!! My Mom threw it, and did everything to make it as perfect as it was! My girls were really great, they had many great ideas and some great gifts
It was at Caffe on the Green in Queens..it was so nice and the food was sooo yummy! There were about 60 people there,and I still can't believe all the gifts!! And they are all ours
I can't even believe how it came and went..and now it's all over
I'm sorry that I can't post pix, I can't scan pix right now

Ooh, Caffe on the Green. That place is beautiful! We actually looked there for our Reception, but it wasn't big enough for us.... rather the ceiling was too low for our taste.. but it was gorgeous! I am so happy to hear your shower went well there!

congrats, hope you had a wonderful time. That is funny you are getting married the same day i did and my mom told me she wanted my shower in april too to really throw me off, but when she went to book everyone told her she was crazy.so glad you were suprised that is great. good luck to you.
